Influence of work-related stress factors on leadership practices at National Construction Authority, Kenya

Lack of a conducive working environment results to stress andchallenges in the practice leadership. Work related factors makes leadership be cumbersome undertaking and this hinder productivity an organization. Thefour objectiveswere; establish influence job demandson leadership, evaluateinfluence work life balance onpractice assessinfluence role ambiguity on examineinfluence organizational stressorson The study used descriptive research design. target population was 423 employees. adoptedsimple random sampling technique selecting206 respondents from entire population. findings revealed that there is strong positive relationship between work-related leadership,job demands had with undefined organization roles description jeopardizes leader’s ability execute tasks. Balancing personaland professional objectivesfulfilsa recommendations are;job descriptions should clearly defined, mandatedand stated well withinthe organization,Leaders delegate certain tasksfor themto focus key Organizations have well-articulated set guidelines for them reach specific goal sustainable, measurable, attainable, reachable time bound ensuringthat leaders understand external internal aspect how workby providing pleasant reduceexperiences lead stress, while at same create thriving continuously improve their performance skills
